Upon arrival I was upset about a personal matter and within seconds she made me feel so much better, at ease and smiling with her kind caring nature. The procedure I thought was going to be embarrassing and not pleasant but I felt comfortable and was able to talk about my personal problems and was actually laughing when I left. We discussed the process of possible self-insertion of a catheter but after an ultra-sound of my bladder she was able to inform me I would not need to have to do it. She went beyond the appointment requirements and spent time helping me to understand how to do Pelvic Floor exercises and correctly, which to date no-one had discussed with me. I am hoping to see Sharon again for bladder instillation instead of travelling to Southampton Hospital as I live local to Lymington Hospital. If and when I know I am seeing Sharon again it will be a pleasure and I the anticipation of the unknown will be all the more better knowing she will be my Specialist Nurse .

Sharon was very friendly and explained everything very clearly in a language I could understand and not just medical terms I was very uneasy about the treatment but she put me at ease and was very helpful friendly and patient I would recommend her to anyone who is feeling anxious thank you for today and look forward to continuing care with her

I have to have a suprapubic catheter changed every few weeks. Sharon is incredibly efficient and also great fun - she makes something quite unpleasant seem totally bearable.
